Are you a professional clinic?

Yes, we are a registered business with all the required insurances. Each coach comes with multiple qualifications. We also have a first aid officer available at all clinics.

Question 2

Will I be too young or old given the vast age bracket of your clinics?

Accepted Answer

Not at all, each clinic we assess the ages and skill level of everyone enrolled and prior to your clinic we organise who will be in what group and start building a plan from there. When it comes to the day and we think your skill set may be better in a different group we will move you accordingly.

Are you a SunSmart clinic?

Accepted Answer

Most certainly

We ask that each participant applies suncream before arriving to clinics especially backs of necks and ears!

If your forget to apply your suncream we will have some available on the day as well as hats available to purchase.

We ask that In the case that you are sensitive to suncreams that you please bring your own for re application.

Question 4

I’d love to do one of your clinics however you’re not local to me.

Not a problem at all! Send us an email and we will see what we can do. We are always looking for areas of demand.

Question 5

I have previously attended a clinic, is there any benefit to doing another?

Accepted Answer

Most certainly, besides repetition being a great learning tool - each clinic is built differently and built to the demands of age group and skill level enrolled.

Question 6

I’ve never played netball, will I still enjoy your clinics?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! It’s actually the best way to see if netball would be something you enjoy without committing to a full season.

Question 7

What qualifications must your coaches obtain?

Accepted Answer

Each coach must obtain their foundation coaches accredication as a minimum.

Some instances we will have aspiring coaches join us for the day, this is so they can gain valuable experience. These future coaches will be supervised at all times.

Our coaches have been an integral part of the netball community for over 30 years.

Question 8

What should I wear to clinics?

Accepted Answer

Regular active wear is perfect (or your clinic shirt!). Layering up on colder days is recommended so as our bodies warm up we can remove clothes as needed.

All Participants will be required to wear enclosed joggers.

We do ask that you remove all* jewellery as you would on the court and please leave your beautiful treasures at home to avoid items being lost.

*some leniency will be shown for freshly pierced ears as we understand school holidays is a great opportunity to have this done. Please discuss with the clinic co ordinator on the day.

Question 9

I require regular medication, will someone be available to assist me in administering this?

Accepted Answer

For asthma medications such as Ventolin we are more than happy to assist you, given all medication is clearly labelled by a pharmacist as well as a copy of your asthma action plan. Please have all this in a clearly labelled zip lock bag with the participants name as well as their emergency contact number.

In the instance that you carry an epic pen we ask that you bring this to clinics as well as a copy of your action plan in a zip lock bag with your name and emergency contact details clearly labelled.

All other medications we are unable to administer and ask that a guardian remain at clinics to assist with this.

Question 10

What do I bring to the clinic?

A big drink bottle of water, a healthy snack, hat, jumper as well as any medications required during your time with us and most of all a positive attitude!

We do encourage participants to avoid bringing common allergen items such as nut products to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

I’m outside of the age bracket for your school holiday clinics do you have anything available for me?

Of course! We love coaching all age groups.

We offer multiple clinic options such as - private one on one, team skill building, learn the foundations, coaching clinics, umpire support as well as our school holiday clinics. We can also assist is building personalised game plans for your team!

Question 12

Do we get breaks during each clinic?

Accepted Answer

Yes! With our school holiday clinics we offer a food break as well as multiple hydration breaks.

With all other clinics you will be notified if you are required to pack food, otherwise just a drink will be fine!

Who is this program for?

This program is for adults looking to improve their game, increase their fitness and gain strength to reduce the risk of injury. This program is for the everyday athlete!

Why should I train with you as an adult?

Imagine combining a workout with the sport you love!
We make movement fun as well as educational. Yes the core of our clinics is netball, however we add in the element of strength and fitness to help you improve your overall health and most importantly your game!

I only play netball socially, would I benefit from this program?

Absolutely! We take on all levels of skill and dedication. This program is for everyone.

I am not sure if I should continue playing netball incase I get injured

Accepted Answer

Whilst we can’t guarantee an injury free netball career we can help you build strength and the movement mechanics you need to give you the added insurance to play for longer.

We believe focusing on injury prevention is for everyone not just the pros.

I've never played netball before, am I welcome to join?

Of course! If you have never played before or you are looking to start this is the perfect place for you. This program will include plenty of the fundamental movements in netball and help you gain the skills and fitness before you begin your netball journey.
